Dinner Always Tastes Better When Someone Else Makes It...

Tonight's dinner brought to you by my awesome fiance! He's quite the chef, and has been pretty good at trying to stay conscious of nutritional value. He had the day off, so while I was at work, he was busy whipping up some pretty fantastic marinated/ baked chicken breast and sauteed asparagus with parmesean and garlic...

Yes, my  hair is crazy, and yes, those are hot pink leg warmers (I'm THAT kind of dance teacher)... Don't judge! :)

I did some resistance band/ jumprope work before work, and this quick little yoga combo to relax before bed... Ahhh....

On a slightly more somber note, one of my first grade students informed me today that when she grew up, she wanted to be really skinny, just like me. It broke my heart. Maybe I was naive, or lucky, but I feel like I was a bit older than six before I started worrying about my weight...

It makes you think...

Awe, that is sad, I agree. I don't know if I thought about things like that at that age. However, I HATE the word skinny. I've been called that too many times lately and it makes me want to scream! BUT, I know this was only a child. Anyway, yummy looking food too =)
