I should have slept later yesterday AM (I was out until 4am swimming in a lake with friends from high school- awesome!), but my mom and the dogs were up at 7:30a, and so was I.
I bummed around the house in the AM, and when Joe FINALLY woke up, we headed out.
I got to rock my $1.50 Oscar de la Renta silk blouse, $0.99 belt, $3 messenger back and $4 moccasins from my THRIFT STORE SHOPPING SPREE!
We get excited before a meal.
Joe makes a habit of jumping for joy.
We ended up at Moe's- and I ended up with a belly full of salsa...
And other things. Yummmmmm.
I decided to push my thrift store luck a bit further and stop at the Goodwill- wise decision! I picked up this hot number, which is getting chopped into a cocktail dress by my sewing-goddess momma!
My sister didn't like her dress as much as I liked mine...
Then it was off to rehearsal dinner for my homies, Jarred and Genevieve, at the beautiful Perthshire!
Holy cute kids.
And stunning flowers...
Jarred is a hilarious person. Just in case you weren't sure...
They won't let us dance toward the altar, but we CAN dance while we exit! YESSSS.
Rehearsal dinner was at the Italian Bistro (where my rehearsal dinner was three short months ago)! Yum. A fun, chill evening with people I love.
Hint: if you play with all the kids at an event, chances are ONE of them will pick a flower for your hair.
We capped the night with Stewarts ice cream!
Perfection.
