Thrift Store Steals

Yesterday I took my mom to her PT appointment (she just had a long overdue and VERY successful hip replacement!). While she was with the therapist, I ran over to the Gloversville Salvation Army to kill some time. $20.77 later, I had a pair of shoes, a skirt, two belts, a blouse, two sweaters, a dress and three t-shirts.
This skirt fits PERFECTLY. The material is a bit too heavy for now, but will be awesome for the fall! For $1.99 how can you go wrong?

:) Legs. I LOVED this sweater- SO 80's off-shoulder amazing, and $0.99. Yes, please.

This dress is really lightweight and so versatile. :) And white-tagged items were 50% off, so it was $3.50.

These sweet belts were $0.99 each, and the Oscar de la Renta 100% silk blouse was 50% off.

Why I thrift:
1) One of a kind items (or at least more rare/ no longer in production items)
2) It's eco-friendliness
3) Budget-friendliness
4) Sense of accomplishment (nothing like finding PERFECT pieces)

Do you thrift? Any good finds lately?

Is the "p" on the tag for "petite"?? If it is, I'm jealous!!! :)

T- I'm guessing it does... it's so hard to tell with older pieces...

It's an AWESOME blouse, though! You're more than welcome to borrow it any time you like! :)
