The Plight of Muscled Americans

Several friends have emailed this to me and I thought I'd share it. I mean, yes, it's the Daily Show but on a more serious note, how do you feel about Planet Fitness' no-lunk policies? You can find a list of them here

Hah I belong to a Planet Fitness and actually see quite a few muscle-y dudes in there. I think the policy is more to keep out the weight-slamming, boisterous meatheads that tend to scare other people away from using the weight area. There's even an alarm that will go off if the weights are dropped too hard. I've belonged to some other gyms and that was more than annoying. I'm fine if someone wants to majorly bulk up, but no need to slam sh*t around calling attention to yourself because you think you're so f-ing buff. :)

Interesting! I was hoping a PF member would respond! :) How do you like working out there?
I actually like the gym a lot. There aren't any classes, so if that's people's main draw for a gym then it's definitely not going to work out. But, I prefer to do my own routine and they have more than enough cardio/weights equipment. Plus I'm allowed to go to any PF I want, and I am allowed to bring a guest every day (at my homebase gym), so Scott can come along for free and we don't have to pay for 2 memberships. The one I go to also has 2 weight machine circuit areas, one for a 30 min all over workout, and one for a 12 min abs workout.
Ummm... Amazing! Two memberships for the price of one? AWESOME!
Too funny! LOVE this! Caught it while I was walking out the door this morning--definitely made my morning!
